Winter Adventure at Utö Lighthouse

A winter weekend or a week at the lighthouse island of Utö is an unforgetable experience. The island is host to adorable little archipelago houses and boathouses, old army bunkers and a few canons, a working weather station, a working and important lighthouse and also a chapel. Departure on friday 18.15 by ferry m/s Eivor. During the trip you can enjoy the sea scenery from the parlour or the cafe & restaurant. The weekend package includes two nights in a double room with breakfasts and one lunch.

Winter Offer at Sauvo Karuna

Combine your cottage vacation with a delicious meal at a wooden hut. Stop by  the Salmensuu Hereford ranch on your way to the cottage on friday and buy some treats to take back with you. On saturday you can spend some time at the Merirantala hut and grill a couple of delicious Hereford sausages. Afterwards you can warm up the sauna and dip into the sea for some refreshing winter swimming. Use of the hut is now free to Merirantala customers (normally €100/3 hours). A hole in the ice for the cabin €30 (normally €50). Vänö Package

The outer archipelago has an incredible natural environment and an undisturbed calmness. You can begin the relaxation in Kasnäs Spa on Friday afternoon, where you can enjoy different saunas, jacuzzis or different spa treatments. Then you're off to Vänö by connection boat, where you will be accomodated in cottages. The island offers hikes and natural experiences, a visit to the chapel, sauna, looking at stars and giving yourself time. There is also a possibility to go fishing. The return to mainland will take place on Sunday. Prices: from 140€/ 2 persons for the cottage (there are different cottages to choose from), sauna on Vänö islands 10€/hour + 2€/person + price for the visit at  Kasnäs Spa (eg. sauna and gym 6,50€/person/2 hours). The connection boat is free of charge.

Hotel Stallbackens winter weekend, Nagu Grännäs

Come and ski on the ice and experience the winter in the archipelago! Make your own tracks along the shores of Grannäs cape, take a bath in the traditional archipelago sauna with ”aitokiuas”-”a real sauna stove” and enjoy a good meal in a classic environment. The torches light up the winter night.

Menu suggestion:

The cozy hotel Lanterna in Nauvo, just right for a small group

Lanterna is as if it was made for a small party of 6 to 12 persons. Lanterna is a small hotel and restaurant in the Nauvo village. It was finished in 2003 and the renovation was made with respect for the old building style and traditions. The cozy atmosphere, good food and appropriate meeting spaces guarantee a succesful stay. Lanterna has modern meeting equipment. Book the whole hotel for your group or party with overnight stay (max. 12 persons), breakfast, meeting space, lunch and dinner. Prices starting at 65€/person/night + VAT. A suitable program is canoeing in the bays by the main island of Nauvo, where the waters are very calm even in the hard weather. Beatiful landscapes, fresh air and light exercise have a refreshing effect. The price for canoe, lifejacket, route map and sauna is 24€/person + VAT. Other program suggestions are fishing, ice fishing, Nordic walking, cycling (you can rent a bike from 15€/person/day), walking along the nature paths, or winter swimming combined with the sauna. These are the obvious activities in the calm archipelago. The speciality of the hotel is a possibility to work with clay in the pottery. We will customize a whole for your needs.

Jurmo Lillstuns package for well being

The basic package includes meals and spending the night at Lillstu: from 88€/Person/night in a single room (includes breakfast, lunch and dinner) and 68€/person/night in a double room. A guided tour on Jurmo by an authorized guide from 47 €/tour, at least one hour. The island also offers nice paths to walk on for the energetic ones. In the nature cottage there is a display about Jurmos flora and fauna and the earlier settlement on the island. Picnic basket 20€/person. Winter swimming if the weather allows. Beach sauna 15€/hour. Traditional Japanese massage from 25€/treatment (20-30 min). Qigong 10€/person/about 1 hour, but at least 40€ if there is 1-3 customers. A small group can also order a Qigong- weekend package, which involves a 2 day course. The ferry m/s Eivor has its' route via Jurmo so the packages are made regarding its' time table.

Korsnäs Östergård is a Working Farm in Nauvo

Here 1-3 persons can spend relaxing days by the sea, and if you wish, take part in the work at the farm. There are sheep and horses on the farm. Prices range from 80€/person/night, including breakfast, horseback riding or a guided tour to Vargberget, lunch or dinner and accommodation in a spacious 20 m2 room with a fireplace, TV, toilet and an own entry. Two showers and a sauna shared with the host family.

Winter/eastern vacation package at Hotel Kasnäs

Welcome to our archipelago spa on your winter vacation! The snow sparkles in Kasnäs, and we are all enjoying the magic winter landscapes. The nature is stunningly beautiful, snow covered trees and big snowdrifts. The ski track and sledge hill welcomes the whole family to spend time with each other and to feel well. In the evening it's relaxing to take a swim and go to the sauna, and also enjoy a nice dinner in the restaurant. The winter and eastern package costs 60€/pers./night, including accommodation in double room, free access to spa and gym, lunch- or dinner buffet and breakfast. Weekend in the archipelago from Nauvo to Nötö

Program: Arrival to Västergård B&B in Nauvo on Friday evening. After dinner there's a chance to enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi. On Saturday morning you have some time to experience Nauvo before the take off to Nötö island (connection boat). After travelling by the winter sea, which is an experience itself, Backaro  with its' comfortable rooms awaits you. In the evening there is dinner and sauna. Sunday consists of strolls on Nötö. The return to Nauvo is about 6pm. The package is optimal for small groups of max. 10 persons or couples who seek peace in an archipelago atmosphere.
The price of the package is 220€ in double room, including the overnight stays with breakfast, lunch on Sunday, dinners, outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. The offer is valid until 30.4.2011 and the booking needs to be done at least one week before the trip.
