The Galley Inga makes public trips to Örö in the summer 2013.
 
The fortress island of Örö is restrictedly open to the public during the summer of 2013. The galley Inga makes 5 trips to the restricted access island with a special agreement with the the finnish Defence Force and the National Board of Forestry of Finland. Access to the island is prohibited by privat vessles.
The programme includes sailing, a two hour guided walking tour of the island with a special emphasy on the nature and history of the island, and lunch. The crew of the ship presents the art of tradiotonal sailing and the guests are welcome to participate in the sailing of the schooner.

Programme:

10am Meeting at the Nature Centre Blåmusslan. Checking of tickets and identification of participants. A guided tour of Blåmusslan
10.45am Departure with Inga. Preparing the sails and the crew tells the passagers about traditional sailing vessels. Lunch: Fish soup and traditional archipelago bread
1 pm Arrival on Örö. We walk to the islands southend and back, approx. 4 km. Historical guided tour. We'll visit the islands' 12 military barracks and the Obuhov cannons. Guided tour about the nature of the island by the nature guide from Blåmusslan.
3.30pm Returning to the galley. Coffee is served and the bar opens.
4.45 pm Arrival in Kasnäs.

Remember:

- Forigners have to apply for access to Örö 2 weeks before the trip to the island. Remember to tell your nationality when booking the tour so the skipper can make the application.
- Visiting Örö is only possible in groups, you are not allowed to move around the island on your own.
- Remember to put on shoes in which you will be able to walk the 4-5 kilometers of the tour.

Number of Passangers:

The Galley can take a maximum of 45 passengers on each tour.

The price:

79 € per person (including 10 and 24 % VAT)
Children aged 6-12: 39,50 euro per person
The price includes the trip, the lunch, the guide, a bottle of water and coffe or tea.

Drama Cruises 2013

Inga makes Drama sailing trips in the Hitis archipelago with the theme LOVE AND BEACH BANDITS, a seven hour cruise in the Hitis archipelago with six quite short plays about this specific area of the archipelago (Note, that the plays are either in Finnish or Swedish). We will also be hoisting the sails and sailing, dropping the anchor during the plays, visit some island destinations, eat on the ship and have some coffee with buns. Departure at 10 a.m. and return at 5 p.m. in Söderlångvik, Dragsfjärd. The price of the cruise is 79€/person. Book your tickets in this link.
